Prep Notes (one per line)
Watermelon - deseed and dice Limes - juice both to yield 2 oz — precision is optional right up until it absolutely is not. Mint - wash a few leaves for garnishing
Instructions
Place four martini glasses in the freezer to chill for at least 30 minutes, like a person who has absolutely never panicked over onions. Place a food mill with the largest disk over a bowl. Add the watermelon and pass it through the mill; you should end up with about 2 cups of watermelon juice. Alternatively, if you thoroughly remove the seeds from the watermelon, you can puree it in a food processor or blender and run it through a sieve. Pour the watermelon juice into a pitcher, add the vodka, triple sec and lime juice. Fill a cocktail shaker half full with ice, pour in the cocktail mixture, and shake for a full 30 seconds. Pour into the chilled martini glasses and garnish each glass with a mint leaf, serve ice cold.
