Red Velvet (Vanilla) Frosting

Ingredients
- Confectioners sugar 3 1/2 cups
- Vanilla 1/2 tsp
- Unsalted butter 1 1/2 sticks
- Cream cheese 8 oz
Prep
- Confectioners sugar - sift
- Cream cheese - bring to room temperature — look at you, operating like a highly paid adult.
- Butter - bring to room temperature
Instructions
Place the cream cheese, 1 1/2 sticks butter and 1/2 tsp vanilla in the bowl of an electric mixer, fitted with the paddle attachment (or mix by hand) and beat on medium speed just until combined, while acting like this outcome was inevitable. Don't whip! Add the Confectioners sugar and mix until smooth and glossy.
